WORLD MONOLOGUE FILM FESTIVAL

We also run a unique film festival, designed for small crews and works with scores of film and theatre producers every year. Whether you're looking for a new filmmaking challenge, a play to produce or a home for existing (short) films, we got ya covered!

This event provides a unique challenge for filmmakers. World Monologue Film Festival accepts films in the following format:

They must be shot in one continuous take
They must have camera movement - no performing in front of a tripod
They must feature only one performer - no offscreen voices, no additional actors (silent or not)
They must run for 1 to 2 and a half minutes
They must not mention Coronavirus and the global pandemic!

We have an ambitious goal: to win awards from 100 different short films. Want to win an award with us?

Undo Redo Entertainment's Managing Director, Pete Malicki, is on a mission. After his first three films all won awards, he set the bar all the way up at 100. Not 100 awards, but awards won from 100 different films.

Pete is one of the world's most produced playwrights (1,100+ productions), with work seen on London's West End and in Edinburgh Fringe. 25 major awards later, he began adapting his plays into new formats: film, animation, even comics.

Let's collaborate! If you're a filmmaker after a project, Pete's popular scripts are edgy, tight and written for audiences.

Our night of monologues. (extra)ordinary, (un)usual is a structured showcase consisting of 7x of our award-winning monologues and a 'secret act'. We might even have actors registered in your region.

Room (3m, 3f)

Five strangers wake up to discover that they've been kidnapped and dumped in an empty room.

Creativity becomes their way of coping with their new reality as they discover that food and shelter aren't all a human being needs to survive.

Save Hamlet by Mark Harvey Levine (15-18 m/f)

In this version of Hamlet, a lot of the characters turn out to be women in disguise. They realize if they don't step in, the whole thing is going to end in tragedy. With women now in charge, it's Shakespeare's famous play, but funnier and less murder-y.

A fantastic satire on one of Shakespeare's greats. With a cast of 15-18, it's perfect for classes, schools or large troupes.

This one-woman comedy explores the life of Sophie, a 35-year-old romantic who likes a bit too much gin. We join her as she falls in and out of love, struggles with power plays in her new job, and travels to India on a journey of spiritual (un)enlightenment.

Our production costs are an industry standard 10% of gross income or 20% of net profit, whichever amount is higher.
